Heavy metals in oil fly ash and their negative impacts on the surrounding environment are discussed. High levels of heavy metals like lead, arsenic, chromium, and nickel were found in oil fly ash samples. If fly ash is disposed of in landfills near communities, it can leach heavy metals into the soil and groundwater, harming the environment and people's health through contaminated water and agricultural lands. Improper management practices of fly ash disposal can create long-term problems for future generations.
