Every year in modern day Pakistan, hundreds of innocent women are

offered by the “Depilex Smile again Foundation”.
DSF has been supporting victims through medical treatment, psycho-social
support and vocational training so they can live their lives successfully.

DSF shuns the idea of granting money to victims rather focuses on helping
victims set up small scale beauty salons, accessory shops and even employ
them in Depilex.
Main goal is to make these victims useful member of society.
DSF arranges workshops to give these victims beautician training.

10. PREDOMINANT SHORTCOMINGS
Ms. Musarrat realizes that one predominant shortcoming is the lack of shelters
for patients that have undergone operations as they cannot return to their
families, who, in most cases, refuse to accept them in their fold.
“The socio-psychological well-being of these victims falls on us, since they have
no one willing to take care of them”, says Ms. Musarrat
