The Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) Rocky Mountain Chapter holds monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 5:15 pm in Forestry 127. SWEP is a national non-profit association that provides professional development, networking, mentoring, and public service opportunities for women in environmental fields. As a new club, SWEP hopes to build a network for women in environmental sciences through social events, speakers, career development and volunteering. Who we are:
The Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) is a national non-profit professional
association of women involved or interested in environmental law, science, education, business,
and policy. Our Rocky Mountain Chapter serves as a resource for members in the Rocky Moun-
tain region, providing opportunities for professional development through, networking, mentor-
ing, and public service.
What we do:
We are NEW and this means we are still developing our identity. Our hope is to build a network of
women with in environmental sciences through social events, networking, professional speakers,
career development & volunteer opportunities.
