The Saint Lucia Association of EMS Educators (SLAEMSE) was formally launched on June 24, 2016. SLAEMSE's mission is to develop and implement internationally accepted standards for EMS education and training in Saint Lucia. The organization's vision is to be the foremost resource for EMS education on the island. SLAEMSE aims to set national standards, guide legislation development, and ensure continuity of high-quality EMS education. The board of directors is led by President Temsey George, Vice President Charlton Felix Andrew, and Secretary Zephania Frederick.

Launch of the Saint Lucia Association of EMS Educators (SLAEMSE)
Rodney Bay, June 27, 2016: The Saint Lucia Association of EMS Educators (SLAEMSE) wishes
to inform the public of its formal launch on June 24, 2016 at the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association (SLHT
A) Conference/Training Center, Rodney Bay.
The Association is registered with the Ministry of Social Transformation, Local Government and Community Deve
lopment as of May 31, 2016. The Board of Directors are as Follows:

SLAEMSE's mission is to Development and implement internationally accepted standards for EMS, EMS
Education and EMS Educators, while provide resources to individuals and organizations that will foster
excellence in EMS education and training.

The vision of SLAEMSE is to be the foremost resource within Saint Lucia's EMS educational community. Set the
national standards for EMS Education and EMS Educator in keeping with internationally accepted standards.

Leadership. SLAEMSE will develop and support international standards of excellence improving learning and
workplace performance in EMS Practise.
Information. SLAEMSE will be the leading source of information on International Standard EMS education and
training. Our organization will promote the worldwide exchange of information.
Research. SLAEMSE will support the development, investigation, evaluation, and publication of innovative and
effective educational methods.
Networking and Partnerships. SLAEMSE will promote professional networking and form partnerships with
individuals and organizations resulting in improved learning and workplace performance.
Development. SLAEMSE will create opportunities for continual learning and professional development for itself
as an organization, its members and all individuals involved in EMS education and training throughout the island
of Saint Lucia.
Goal Actualization
We will move closer to achieving our vision by:
Developing and implementing International Standard Regulations, Policies and Protocols
Focusing on the highest priority issues for EMS education, International training community.
Monitoring global education standards and training for, changes and modifying our strategies as needed.
Subscribing to a corporate climate that promotes continuous quality improvement.
