1. Media for year 13 (script)
(Reece is walking down the street, towards the camera, bloodied and bruised holding a
bloodied hammer Fade to white and fade back in with young boy, Reece, running down a
small snicket before stopping at a wall and sliding his back down the wall and sitting down
on the floor. He places his head in his hands taking a deep sigh, whilst putting his head into
his knees. A young girl,Taylor, walks up to Reece and sits down next to him. She looks
around and then back to Reece asking)
Taylor: So what’s your name?
(Reece looks up slightly confused)
Reece: Reece, you?
Taylor: Name’s Taylor
(She reaches into her jacket and pulls out a generic looking bottle of alcohol taking the lid of
she swigs some she then passes it over to Reece who then drinks some. The camera pans up
slowly and then back down to see Reece and Taylor are meeting back at the same place but
it says a few years later. They both jump on the wall and light a cigarette/pull out the same
brand of alcohol. Reece looks down before saying.)
Reece: Look Taylor, I don’t want to do our little “jobs” anymore
Taylor (shocked/angry): What?! You can’t just quit! This isn’t the kind of job you can just walk
away from!
Reece: Look, there’s this guy he wants to adopt and he accepted my folder. I could get a real
parent and I don’t want to mess that up by stealing.

2. (Taylor looks down for a minute before saying.)
Taylor: What about the job?
Reece: What are you going on about?
Taylor: I’m on about the job to end all jobs. Come on, you do this last job with me and then
you can go off and live your happy life with your new daddy.
(Taylor puts her hand out and Reece takes it and shakes it before turning and leaving down
the snicket. The next is a montage scene with quick jump cuts of shots of the two getting
ready. On one shot Taylor puts a hammer in her bag with a fade shot of Reece in the
background looking at it worriedly. The two teens are walking down a street before walking
up to a gate and jumping over it and breaking into the kitchen where a man, Max, and his
guest are drinking tea when the teens in their masks barge in yelling at them to get down.
The two adults are on the ground with their hands to their heads. Taylor starts to put pieces
of jewellery into her bag when Reece grabs her arm pulling her aside.)
Taylor: What the hell man?!
Reece: Why did you not tell me that this was his house?! This is the guy who might be
adopting me!
(Taylor smirked at Reece)
Taylor: To teach you a lesson in loyalty
(Taylor pulls her arm free and walks to grab more stuff when the guest speaks up)

3. Guest: Why are you doing this?
(Both teens remain quiet and grab some more objects)
Guest: Oh I get it. You act all big and tough but you’re nothing more than a bunch of f’ing
kids
(Taylor freezes looking over to the guest)
Taylor: What did you just call me?
(Reece looks over to the guest with a worried expression)
Guest: f’ing kids
(Taylor reaches in her bag and quickly grabs the hammer hitting the guest upside the head
killing them. Reece grabs Taylor by her collar shaking her)
Reece: what the hell is wrong with you?! You never said we would kill anyone!
Taylor: It doesn’t matter we don’t need them alive. They’re useless to us
(Reece swiftly punches Taylor in the face making her stumble backwards rubbing the blood
that was falling down her nose. She glares at Reece before charging at him Max watched on
in horror when suddenly when after Taylor had been unmasked during the fight Taylor went
to grab Reece by his face when she pulled down his mask. Max looks surprised and shocked.)

4. Max: R-Reece that’s you?
(Close up as Reece looks down almost saddened when he suddenly springs at Taylor
pushing her out of the open door. He rolls onto the floor and tries to get up when Taylor
jumps on him pushing her hands to his neck. He tried to pry her off but was quickly losing
oxygen. He saw out of the corner of his eye, the hammer, he swiftly reaches for the hammer
and grabs it smacking the wooden side on Taylor’s face. He then holds her down and raises
the hammer to strike her face. When suddenly he brings the hammer down making it look
like he has smashed her head in. The camera looks down and shows that the hammer is
inches away from her face but has actually just hit the ground really hard.)
Reece (hisses): I never would!
(Reece then punches Taylor in the face and gets up and looks in the doorway looking at Max
who is now stood up.)
Reece (sarcastically): well I’ve really nailed that adoption, haven’t i?
(Reece then opens the gate and exits shutting it quietly. He then walks down the street
bloodied and bruised still holding the bloodied hammer)
