Ang Katutubong awit ay mga kantang binuo/ginawa ng mga katutubo at ito ay awiting sumasalamin sa araw-araw na pamumuhay ng mga katutubo at mamamayan ng Pilipinas.
Ang mga awiting ito ay nagkukuwento tungkol sa mga katutubo, lalo na ng mga probinsya sa kanilang simpleng pamumuhay, at kung paano nila ginagawa ang iba’t ibang gawain.
