It provides project management, engineering services, and supplies capital equipment and parts from original equipment manufacturers. Angstrom was for a period owned by Voest Alpine Industrial Services; a joint venture
between Voest Alpine Stahl and Voest Alpine Industrieanlagenbau, later acquired by Siemens as
part of a global acquisition of the VA Tech group. Strong International governance and expertise
has been entrenched, the founders re-acquired the business and it is once more 100% South
African owned.
