words stand out and the colour red and
symbolises blood or love/lust and so
could foreshadow both in the film.

It is put in to help tell the story.
The Killer rings his victim to torture them and taunt
them. His most frequently asked question he asks on
the phone is “Do you like scary movies?”
4. This shot is Dutch angle shot. This is used to portray
psychological uneasiness or tension.
5. This shot is very dark and
mysterious, this causes tension
and makes the audience feel
nervous.
This shot could foreshadows
something bad is going to happen
because of the dark colours and the
low key lighting
6. This is a wide shot. This shot is used to
show the characters surroundings. The
surrounding seem quite lonely and this
would make the audience feel afraid
fort he character because there doesn’t
seem to be neighbours to run to for
help.
7. This shot is interesting
because the character starts
playing with the kitchen knives
and at this moment she is
talking to the killer. This could
foreshadow her up coming
