Greencon is proposing to remodel the Big Wave Hotel in Cabarete, Dominican Republic to make it more sustainable and reduce energy costs. The renovation would update all 24 rooms across four buildings as well as the lobby area. Landscaping modifications and smart technology like lighting control systems and smart glass windows would be incorporated. Greencon specializes in sustainable hotel design and construction using the newest technologies to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

6. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
 The existing hotel has four buildings, each one has three
floors and two rooms per floor, this implies that the total
amount of rooms is 24.
 The property has 10,000 m² and is located just by the
sea.
 Complete hotel renovation, the client wants special
attention on the lobby because it is the main area and it
provides the first impression to the customers.

8. LOBBY PROPOSAL
As you drive through the entrance
street, you start seeing a big rotunda
covered by breathtaking flowers that
form the name of the hotel: "The Big
Wave". You go around the rotunda,
and you will be located under a high
ceiling room.
When entering the lobby, to your right
you would find a space to leave the
luggage; which will be taken to your
room by one of the hotel employees.
To your left, there is a big glass
window that allows you to see the
beautiful landscape. If you keep
walking straight, you will enter
an enormous circular room decorated
with a modern style.
The lobby's walls have windows from
the floor to the ceiling, which allow
everyone to see the other areas of the
hotel.
