What is Bank Alfalah Limited?
Bank Alfalah Limited is a private bank in Pakistan owned by the Abu Dhabi
Group. Bank Alfalah was incorporated on June 21, 1997 as a public limited
company under the Companies Ordinance. The bank is engaged in
commercial banking, and related services as defined in the Banking companies
ordinance.
6. Historical Background of Bank Alfalah
Bank Alfalah Limited was launched in 1997 as a public limited company. The bank
commenced its operations on November 1, 1997. On the May 16, 2005 Bank Alfalah
formally took over the Bangladesh operations of Shamil Bank and renamed it to Bank
Alfalah. This was the first branch of the bank outside Pakistan.

The bank is currently operating through 576 branches(as on May 1,2014)
domestically and an international presence in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and
Bahrain, with the registered office at B.A.Building, Karachi.

Our questionnaire was open ended. We provided the questionnaire to the branch manager and he filled it out. We also discussed some modes of communication with the manager in meeting.
Communication flow follow this organogram while moving downward or upward within the organization.
After this visit to Alfalah Bank we learn that communication is basic need of an organization. Without communication organization is nothing. The life and growth or development of organization is largely depend on its communication system. Strong communication will assure the bright future of an organization everyone in the Bank have to play an important role in achieving good communication. We also learn all the communication and channels that are used by bank Alfalah and studied there communication system thoroughly. After finding that the Bank Alfalah have an effective communication system we hope that in future they will be able to offer more superior products and services to customers and to contribute more to economic and social development of Pakistan that will make them one of the best banks of Pakistan.
