Marc Maddox, started from humble beginnings in a small town of Kentucky. At a
very early age Marc realised his technical and mechanical mind would be the
force that would drive him, due to struggling with school and reading, not
knowing atthe time that an undiagnosed case of dyslexia was the underlying
cause. Marc worked in the motorcycle and automotive business his entire adult
life until he retired at the age of 41 to work along side his wife, the love of his life,
in thenetwork marketing profession.

04:27 -Meth amphetamine was MY DRUG OF CHOICE and it led on to heroin,
andmeth andheroin wenttogether andcocaine…
05:00- I knew like I said from when I was 10 years old, the rst time I ever laid
eyes on him that I LOVED HIM. The ________ that he looked at me was the way I
wantedsomebody to look atmefor therestofmy life.
06:17 -I ultimately MARRIED SOMEONE ELSE and during that time frame I lost
my mother to cancer. And basically it not only destroyed me emotionally but
it destroyed my _______________. IT DESTROYED—-you know I was at the lowest
pointin my life. Andthemarriagewas a tumultuous marriagewithoutgetting into
too much detail.
06:43 -I was a VICTIM OF DOMESTIC ABUSE for two years, until I nally got
__________ enough to sneak out in the middle of the night with my young son and
try to makea better lifefor us.
07:40 -We ended up in the same restaurant bar on the same night
CELEBRATING the fact that our divorces were __________. That day! They were
final on theexactsameday andwe’vebeen together every day sincethen.
08:25 -Weweretrying to _____________ IFIT WASOKFOR USTOLOVE someone
again.
08:47- So BOTH OF US trying to break through those walls to ______ to each
other’s hearts was tough.
09:07- Now mind you, I was oneofthosepeoplewho as long as everything in my
life was going ok, I could like not even think about wanting to get high, but as
soon as like one thing, one __________ or one uh-oh, one blip or hiccup in my norm,
which I’ve learned now are called triggers. I would IMMEDIATELY TURN TO
METH.

09:49- He just gave me AN ULTIMATUM. He said “you know, you got to pick
right now. You want meand your kids, our kids, or do you want this other lifethat
you’re__________, becausesomething gotta give”.
10:32- So I DETOXEDMYSELF, gotmyselftogether.
10:37- We lost cars, we lost houses. I CHEATED ON HIM. I almost literally
destroyed my life. I was at a __________ in my life where every single day that I got
high I literally was praying “pleaseGodletmedo enough today thatI will die…”
11:25- Later on, once he _________ me this ultimatum I GOT MYSELF IN
THERAPY.
13:18- I knew shewas INPLACESI didn’twanther to bein…
14:07- I WASSICKandheknew that, buthejustdidn’t_________ how to fixme.
14:36- Basically I was _________ saying “I’ll change. I’ll do better! ” Because it
TRULYwas always, andin all ways, my fault.

15:04- I KNEW I WANTED HER. I knew I wanted my kids and us not being
