29. The best way to make you happy is to make other people happy!
I've designed a series of products for a hedonist: gifts created
around the idea of producing as many smiles as possible during the
morning that continue for the rest of the day, affecting everybody.
The range focuses on transforming a mundane routine by
introducing unexpected experiences and surprises. Working with a
cosmetics packaging firm I have produced a range of highly
commercial products that blur the boundaries between cosmetics
and conceptual consumer product design.
The Hedonist Gifts
30. As I was working with a cosmetic packaging company whom they
actually work custom lines for clients like Chanel, Estee lauder,
Sephora, Guerlain etc I thought to make my own brand and collection
for it. Putting my products on a market. . .
I named the collection "The Hedonist". I chose to call it like this
because a hedonist seeks pleasure from everything he does. So there's
no better way to make a hedonist happy then making other people
happy, by giving gifts with a positive feel.
Delivery of concept
31. The theme around all the objects was about metaphors and bird
quotes. The bird is sometimes associated with the morning, the early
bird ... I wanted to tie up all three objects with a common
theme.
The alarm clock - 'the early bird gets the worm but it's the
early worm that gets caught'
The mug - 'God gives every bird its own food, but He does not
put it into his nest'.
Lip gloss - 'You're just an empty cage girl if you kill the bird',
