INFORMATION
FOR STUDENTS: During a three-hour, in-classroom simulation
workshop, students assume roles as village leaders.Through technology,
discussion, and hands-on investigations, they work collaboratively to
examine real-world issues and make life-saving decisions.
FORTEACHERS: Accompanying professional development provides
a foundation for global citizenship education and background for the
student workshop. A variety of curricular resources support teaching
and learning across the curriculum and throughout the school year.
• Suggested for grades 5–8
• Three hours in duration
• Conducted by TeachUNICEF educators
• Free of charge for any NYC public or private school
