Professional Summary
I began working as a freelance medical writer and editor for Excerpta Medica Asia, Ltd. in Hong
Kong. After joining their staff, I traveled throughout Asia covering medical symposia, writing
and editing publications for the pharmaceutical industry. I also became the production editor
of the Journal of the Formosan Medical Association. This position enabled me to develop
organizational, project management, and team building skills in an international setting. Upon
my return to the USA four years later, I continued editing and writing. I work predominantly
with my Asian connections who write academic research papers for publication in the English
language literature and for whom English is a second language.
