3. First Kepler Law
● The first kepler law states that the sun is in one of the focus of the elIipse
shaped path of planets.
● Focus point or foci in latin

4. Second Kepler Law
● The second Kepler law states that an imaginary line drawn from the
center of the sun to the center of the planet will sweep out equal areas
in equal intervals of time.
● Also called the law of equal areas.
5. Third law
● The third Kepler law states that the ratio of the squares of the periods to the
cubes of their average distances from the sun is the same for every one of
the planets.

● It sums up in this formula: T2/R3 = the same in all of the planets

● You can try to use it, for example Saturn takes 29.5 yr to orbitate the sun and
its distance from it is 9.54 a.u. and Uranus takes 84.0 yr to orbitate the sun
and its distance from it is 19.18 a.u.
