Capabilities
Veolink Care, rational and optimized
membranes processes operation
Increasingly used in drinking and waste water treatment plants, membrane filtration processes are installed in
order to obtain high-quality treated water, complying with the strictest environmental requirements.
In order to support this now necessary technological progress and to meet contract operators' regular needs
concerning the use of these systems, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies has developed Veolink Care, a
membrane system management and operating optimisation software package. Veolink Care can be used with
the entire range of membrane technologies, both for drinking and waste water.
Data extraction from trans-membrane pressure
monitoring, automatic data archiving and manage-
ment for operational assistance.
Real-time management of clogging status and
permeability, thanks to specific computational
algorithms, optimised and patented by Veolia
Water Solutions & Technologies.
Based on your filtration cycles' operating curves,
Veolink Care enables you to launch appropriate
cleaning in place cycles in order to maintain the
filtrability and hence your membranes treatment
capacity.
Veolink Care is an essential element for ensuring
your membranes durability. Their service life,
prescribed according to their application, is thus
improved.

Implementation
Benefits for end users
A permanent diagnosis of your units' operating
status, both simple and reliable, that provides early
warning of possible malfunctions.
Easy and secure unit control of the membrane
permeability based on advanced operating control
algorithms .
Reduced use of chemicals at the membranes cleaning
in place station, thanks to washing operation rational
management.
Washing frequency optimisation also leads to
enhanced treatment capacity.
Veolink Care can be directly installed on one of your membrane systems
already in operation, or in any newly built plants. It is suitable for all unit
sizes.
Veolink Care is directly connected to your PLC via a dialogue interface.
With no programming, it can be connected and interactive withmost
commercially available PLCs and supervision (SCADA) applications.
Veolink Care also enables remote access for viewing in real-time your
membrane facility status, along with its operating history.
