• She has the authority to approve Jean’s contract
• Her authority can be associated with other
colleagues’ authority (Finance, Sales, Human
Resources…)

What can Marie Barriere do?

• Re-draft the contract using Microsoft Word prior to give her
approval, with her version replacing the one Jean first created
