3. Marie Curie
Marie Curie was born on November 7, 1867 in Poland,
she was a scientist and physicist, who with the help
of her husband conducted pioneering research
around the world in the field of radioactivity. She was
the first woman to be awarded a Nobel Prize, the
first person and only woman to win the prize twice
and in two distinct areas of knowledge. She was also
the first woman to be admitted as a professor at the
University of Paris. She died on July 4, 1934.

Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in
Germany, was one of the most brilliant minds in
science, having thus developed the theory of
general relativity. He was also awarded the 1921
Nobel Prize in Physics "for his contributions to
theoretical physics" and, especially, for his
discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect,
which was instrumental in establishing quantum
theory. He died on April 18, 1955.

5. Elizabeth Blackwell was born on February 3,
1821 in United Kingdom, she became a doctor
and was the first woman to graduate and
practice medicine in the United States.
Focused on promoting the entry of more
women into medicine, she was also a
reformist and abolitionist. Her sister was the
third woman to graduate in medicine in the
United States. She died on May 31, 1910.

Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in
Italy, he stood out as a scientist,
mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist,
painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, poet and
musician.
Leonardo was fascinated with the human body
and ended up discovering that vision results
from the entrance of light through the eyes,
that this discovery is still used in medicine and
also inspired him to paint "Mona Lisa".

Simone de Beauvoir
Simone de Beauvoir was born on January 9,
1908 in France, was a writer, existentialist
philosopher, political activist, feminist and
French social theorist. She is known for her
1949 book "The Second Sex", a detailed
analysis of the oppression of women and a
fundamental treatise on contemporary
feminism. The book presents a feminist
existentialism that prescribes a moral
revolution, thus causing several women to
come together to defend their rights. She
died on April 14, 1986.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929
in Georgia. He was a Baptist pastor and political
activist, leader of the civil rights movement in the
United States of 1955 having managed to get
several people to support him. King is widely known
for the struggle for political rights through non-
violence and civil disobedience. On October 14,
1964, King won the Nobel Peace Prize for fighting
racism in the United States. He was murdered on
April 4, 1968.
