he Bitcoin Masterclass (Slovenia) Day 1: Multicast and IPv6, Bitcoin and IPv6 use cases, Wallets and overlay services, Blockchain use cases for businesses
In the first session of the Bitcoin Masterclass in Slovenia, Dr Wright discussed IPv6 and how it will work alongside Bitcoin to create a truly distributed, permissionless peer-to-peer network with no scaling limit. He opened the session by discussing the basics of IPv6, anycast, multicast and IP-to-IP.
In the second session, Dr Wright discussed the various use cases for IPv6 and Bitcoin and how the two technologies can work together to create a new Internet.
In the third session on day one, Dr Wright discussed wallets and overlay services on Bitcoin. He also gave an overview of the different peer-to-peer services which can be built on the technology and why the Internet needs to fundamentally change.
In the final session on day one, Dr Wright discussed how blockchain can be used across a variety of sectors including the food industry and hotels.

DAY 1
#2
If you have any questions, please email them to events@nchain.com
2. Delegate Registration
Session 1: IPv6 and Multicast Traffic
Dr Wright will cover the basic constructs and networking foundations concerning
both IPV6 and the use of multicast, including topics such as efficient sending.
Coffee Break
Q&A / Breakout Session
Session 2: Multicast, Broadcast, Unicast, & Anycast
We’ll look at the integration of different types of traffic distribution services,
including reliable message protocol systems, object management groups, data
distribution services, pragmatic general multicast, explicit unicast (XCast),
distribution trees, and peer casting.
Lunch
Session 3: Wallets & Overlay Services
We’ll delve into how multicast and related traffic types can be integrated into
Bitcoin wallets and create versioned datasets and information limited to selected
broadcast or multicast. We’ll uncover how specialist nodes can send to selected
types of services and versioned data.

Session 4: Exercise One
The final session will run as a workshop to develop solutions based on what you
have learnt so far.
