Skills:
Languages : Scala, Java, C/C++
Big Data technologies : Apache Hadoop, Hbase, Spark, Storm, Kafka, HDP Stack
Security : Kerberos, LDAP, AD, Ranger, Ranger KMS
Machine Learning Tools : Weka, R, Spark
Cloud Services : Amazon AWS, Google App Engine, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack

Operating System : Linux, Windows 7, 8
Projects:
Amazon Web Services: S3, EC2, DynamoDB and RDB:
Benchmarked the performance of SQL and NoSQL database on AWS based on transferring large
set of data from local machine to S3 and by running SQL queries. Then used an EC2 instance to
load the data into database.
Data Analysis on AWS and mLearning:
Transferred large amount of data into DynamoDB (Amazon AWS) and used machine learning
tools such as Weka, R and clustering algorithms to extract the meaning of data and then
visualized the results using D3.js.
Cloud Storage:
Created an application where files are encrypted and digitally signed before being uploaded to
Google drive and also decrypt while downloading the files.
Hadoop MapReduce Framework:
Analyzed a large weather dataset using Hadoop Map-Reduce, programmed in Java. Studied the
performance impact by varying the number of mappers and reducers.
Development of a web app for the management of a videogames collection:
Developed a web application by using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a user to buy and
maintain a game collection by creating a database on XAMPP MySQL server to store the
appropriate data.
Google Cloud Storage:
Transfer small, medium and large data files from the local machine to Google cloud storage (Big
Table) by using Java APIs.
MavRide Escort service:
Developed a system consisting two different android applications for different users, based on
their login credentials, and a web server to monitor live data updates. Also, Implemented maps
using Google Maps API in one of the applications. Both applications communicate with each other
2. and real time data is uploaded on web server. The backend is stored on Parse cloud using
android SDK.
P2P file sharing:
Developed an android application to transfer files between users, based on their distance, using
Bluetooth connectivity.
Restaurant Search:
Developed an android application for searching nearest restaurants and used Google Maps API
to direct the user to specific selected location.
Network Monitoring using Wireshark:
Analyzed the network of local system with the help of networking software called Wireshark.
Multithreaded Web Proxy Server:
Implemented a multithreaded web proxy server to handle multiple HTTP requests (GET and
POST) by client and handle errors when the object requested by client is not available. It also
caches web pages each time the client makes a particular request for the first time and returns
the cached web pages to the client when a cache hit occurs.
Extra-Curricular Activities

Member of Fine arts Society of India as a fashion coordinator during 2013-2014 at UTA.
Participated along with Indian Cultural council during “Diwali Mela” and “Swaggat” at UTA.
Hosted “First CSI International Conference & Fifth CSI National Conference on Education and
Research” held at Lingaya’s University.
Participated as a team member in “Web/Mobile Application Development” with “Inceptra
Technologies”.
