This document discusses building digital capability and changing roles. It identifies six elements of digital capability: information, data, communication, content, safety, and problem solving. It provides a new role profile for a library information professional that is mapped to competencies and can be found online along with other resources. The document suggests that libraries and learning resource services will need to develop digital capabilities the most in the areas that support organizational strategies. It provides information on following the digital capability project and staying engaged through their blog, user group, and consultancy services.
