Standard Bank South Africa
Linda is an energetic and dedicated individual focused on delivering value to the business and ensuring
that processes are in place to track and measure the deliverables. She is able to take the initiative and
engage with stakeholders where necessary and is a great asset to the team and TPS in general.
Her ability to focus on the issue and resolve it is testament to her abilities and Linda is not afraid to
tackle a task that is outside her scope of work as evidenced by the work she has done on the Siemens
initiative. Linda was also instrumental in driving the development of the sharepoint site where all
enhancements are recorded which supports the enhancement process that she has developed to ensure
that delivery is taking place. Linda has made a tremendous impact within the TPS SSD business unit. Her
work ethic and attention to detail is exemplary and we thank her for all the hard work during the course of
the year.
Manager Train Planning: Vivienne King - State Rail Authority of New South Wales
Linda's responsibility covers the management of the Train Planning Integration Project, which requires her
to project manage the analysis, design and upgrading of existing and new timetable software applications
to provide an integrated system for Train Planning operations…Linda has demonstrated her excellent
ability of just "getting the job done" under incredible time constraints. We have had more progress in the
time of her contract, than we have had in the last four years. This is something I attribute to Linda's
technical ability. … believe Australia will be gaining an excellent asset in the arena of project management
and IT development.
Advanced Company Directorship Assessor: Australian Institute of Company Directors
An innovative approach. identification and presentation of issues facing SurgeCor was sound and
reinforced with humorous effect. The focus on both ways of resolving the issues and action to implement
improvements was soundly based. The effort was topped off by a solid set of recommendations and their
priorities.
General Manager Commercial: Kirk Mitchell – BP (Kaltim Prima Coal)
In my capacity as General Manager Commercial I had the privilege of working with Linda Horne in her
capacity as a consultant acting as team leader to evaluate needs and make recommendations as to a way
forwards for Human Resource systems for Kaltim Prima Coal. KPC is a very large operation which
employs over 2500 people in an extremely complex remuneration and benefits environment (Indonesia).
…. I found Linda’s work extremely professional in all aspects. We were extremely pleased with the results.
It is also worth noting that the research portion of the team's work uncovered some areas of inefficiency
within our own work processes that exceeded our initial suspicions. We have been able to put controls in
