9. Abstract Council for Economic Planning population projection data show that Taiwan's population over 65 years the ratio of the total population of 11%, estimated population in 2025 will increase more than 20% to enter the super-aged society, how to respond to large numbers of people aging and the elderly to take care of the problem is one of the most important social issue. This study is targeted at the elderly during the Super-aged society, through literature review, case analysis, to understand the Super-aged society, lifestyle, and with the use of residential life; explore daily life in general discussion of design in the home space for substantial help; and import assistive technology, such as automatic adjustment of light and wisdom of both the protection of windows, home security, then the actual operation model, using the Ecotect software environment simulation.Use of technology aids elderly aging in place to implement the principle, so that the elderly have a secure and independent living environment.
11. Super-aged society: the World Health Organization (WHO) to elderly people aged over 65 is defined as the elderly population over 65 years for more than 7% of the total population is aging society, more than 14% for the aged society, more than 20% claimed Super-aged society. Residential Life:It contains the youth mobility, old age in a nursing home, home care during aging, and finally dying at home with the comprehensive functions of the living environment. Theoretical concepts of residential life, the residents do not need to move, with the ability of the different stages of life and living needs, and service facilities in the environmental function needs to join the growing family to provide services, mobility aids, barrier-free facilities, nursing services, rehabilitation support and care through the facility conditions, and conditions of these facilities should be constructed early in the residential planning considerations have set aside adequate mechanisms for its development. Aging in Place: The basic spirit of the stresses which can live an independent life, in need of help-type care, need to fully care ability of the different stages of life, residential environment for residents living arrangements should be good. Universal design: the design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design.
