The artist conducted research on character concept art and medieval fantasy designs to create unique characters wearing peculiar armor in different proportions. Researching real armor designs provided ideas, but the artist will take creative liberties to make armor designs as imaginative as possible. Secondary research informed the artist's sketches and ideas for developing fantasy characters with unusual armor styles.
