My art is for people with imaginations, get with it! people
telling me what they think it's about is often more
interesting than what i think it's about, which i usually have
no idea myself. if I called it Saltshaker would you feel
better?
You don't know if that's what it's really about - could be
more positive in meaning. people tend to see both negative
AND positive things in even my "darkest" works, which is
an interesting phenomenon to me, that what they see in
obscure visual art mirrors their state of mind and being...
Some of the concepts they invent for my work are so far
off, i can't help wonder if they're accidentally describing an
entirely different work.. by a different artist even I like to
dig deep into the human psyche and my art has helped me
do that better than anything else, invoking feelings and
thoughts in people that rarely reveal themselves otherwise.
occasionally, the things I create are a kind of psychological
study to observe others' reactions, perceptions, logic,
reasoning, and all these facets of their mind that give me a
behind-the-scenes peek into in, telling me a lot about them
and their lives. its been a brilliant journey thus far.
