I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing and working with Levi Tronnes during his current tenure as an
Alternative Learning Center teacher, Driver’s Education teacher and After School Tutoring Program Supervisor
at Waubun School. Levi plays a vital part in the transformational change that is occurring at Waubun. He is a
diligent, dedicated member of our staff who consistently demands and gets more from students.
Levi’s diligence is displayed every day. As an ALC teacher, he has been instrumental in our ALC becoming
much more organized and has brought forth rigor and relevance to the program. He utilizes a wide variety of
methods to engage students. He builds relationships with the students and their parents. He continuously
maintains contact with the parents. Due to his efforts, more of our students have been successful in completing
the goals in their continual learning plans. Hence, more students are making great progress towards their
graduation. As a driver’s education teacher, Levi brings about great pedagogical skills and classroom
management. He uses both formative and summative assessments to assure that students are reaching the
desired outcomes. As an After School Tutoring Program Supervisor, Levi also employs his organization and
communication to ensure student success. He keeps parents, other teachers and coaches informed to students’
progress in the After School Tutoring Program. He has worked tirelessly to become our Driver’s Education
teacher.
Levi’s dedication to our school and the community can be seen in all that he does. He can be found at various
events of our school, chaperoning, helping or cheering on our students. Levi’s commitment to our school and
its mission is without reproach.
One of the most impressive qualities about Levi is his steadfastness in establishing rigor. We believe in the
stretch culture at Waubun. Levi challenges his students to achieve more. He has impacted the culture at the
ALC and the After School Tutoring Program to one of high expectations and success.
In conclusion, it is without any doubt or reservation that I write this letter of recommendation for Levi Tronnes.
He is a true asset to our school and community. He is a great educator with the overall goal of doing what is
