He received several degrees including a BCom Honours in Accounting from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Currently, he works as a Senior Lecturer at Rhodes University where he teaches accounting courses and sets examination papers. He has previously worked as an Audit Manager at Deloitte in South Africa, and has also gained international experience working in Deloitte's offices in the USA and UAE.
