I have signed up to
be a Rainbow Leader,
re-joining the
Girl Guiding
movement after
20+ years.
This is to spend time with
my five-year-old daughter
who had her name on
the waiting list since she
was two – and to follow
in my mum’s footsteps.
She became Brown Owl
after volunteering when
my sister and I joined
Brownies when we were
children.
