I understand Laurie Hackett is applying for an Accounting Associate position in your company.
I have known Laurie for more than six years and was her supervisor at her previous position with
Easter Seals Florida and recommend her for this position.
Laurie is a highly motivated and hard worker. She has a strong thirst for knowledge and thrives
on learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities. During her time at Easter Seals there
were a number of changes being made in the accounting systems and Laurie was quick to learn
the new procedures and helped to refine them as she started using them on a regular basis.
Laurie works well with others and has the compassion to deal with various personalities while
keeping her eye on the goal of getting the job done and done right.
I left Easter Seals Florida prior to Laurie’s departure but I know from continued contact with
former coworkers there that Laurie continued to be an asset to their organization right up to the
day she left. Her dedication and enthusiasm were two of her best qualities.
