Master Bathroom renovation for a client’s
home in Riverclub, Sandton. June 2011
After receiving the client’s brief, a dimensional
and photographic survey was taken of the
existing premises.
As part of the initial project appraisal, work
began on analysing the client’s needs in
conjunction with the shortfalls of the existing
design. This initial work phase formed the
foundation for the design concept, which was
presented, along with a preliminary budget, to
the client for approval.
With approval granted, work forged ahead on
developing it into a resolved design, complete
with outline specifications, a detailed budget and
project program.
home about portfolio contact
This design development was transformed into
technical documentation for issue to the project
team to facilitate the final phase,
implementation.
This project was delivered to the client as a
turnkey project, which involved the appointment
of the contractors from various disciplines,
placing orders for the execution and installation
of the works, inspection, snagging, and
rectification of defective works, acceptance of
handover of the works from the contractors and
finally, handover to the client.

Master Bathroom Renovation: Large 45m2 bathroom furnished with bespoke cabinetry in such a way as to divide the space
into smaller, more inviting spaces serving particular functions. Strong lines, angles and dark colours are softened by the incorporation
of small scale patterns and textures present in the Kelly Hoppen wallpaper, steel-glass-marble mosaic and diamond-patterned wall tile.

Master Bathroom Renovation: Further balance between hard & soft and masculine & feminine is brought about by the
introduction of accents of colour, soft, curved lines and variations in texture present in the curved glass infill panel of the linen cupboard
doors, the upholstered dressing table chair with its beautiful curves, diamond tufting and soft sheen, the soft, tailored window drapery, the
floating shelving unit, the tapered counter top and curved side panel of the dressing table, and the bespoke pendant light above the bath

Bespoke Furniture & built-in cabinetry design
for a client’s home in Gallo Manor, Sandton.
March-May 2011
The client had to two areas in their family room,
which they deemed problematic. The first space,
and highest on their list or priorities, was the
space and furniture set aside for their audio-
visual equipment. The second, was an alcove in
the family room that served no real purpose, was
an eye-sore and would be best enjoyed, and of
most use, if it could house a reading nook and a
drinks cabinet.
Work began on assessing our client’s needs and
wants in greater in detail.
home about portfolio contact
TV Cabinet Design:
The first area to be addressed was the audio-
visual area of the room. After analysis, it was
decided that the key problems to be addressed
were the following:
1. Lack of storage & display space for the
clients many ornaments.
2. An archway leading into the adjacent formal
lounge had been blocked off by a couch. A
solution was needed to conceal the back of
the couch and alter the look so that it
looked less like an inconveniently positioned
entryway and more like it served a function
and was part of the homes original design.
3. Much needed, storage space was needed
for the audio visual equipment. This space
needed to be tailor-made to house the
clients existing equipment, yet be able to
adjust to future changes in technology.

A design solution was presented to the client
along with a preliminary budget. The solution
addressed all aforementioned needs, however,
was out of their budget range. Work began in
budget engineering the solution to come in on
budget without forfeiting any of the necessities
and design features, much liked by our client.
The goal was achieved and exceeded the
client’s expectations, which resulted in happy
clients, now able to enjoy their home to the
fullest potential.

Liquor Cabinet Design:
With the first area’s design done and dusted,
work began in transforming the second area by
means of a custom-designed liquor cabinet
The client’s first request was that the liquor
cabinet be a stand-alone piece of furniture that
could move with them should they wish to
relocate.
With a very clear goal in mind, the cabinet was
designed to maintain long-term integrity, serve
all their functional needs and be of a classic
design,
After delivery of the cabinet to our client within
budget, the once unused corner of the family
room has been completely transformed into
something functional and beautiful and made for
extremely happy clients

Bespoke coffee table design for a client’s
home in Blair Atholl Golf Estate, Lanseria.
February 2012
The brief was to design a coffee table for the
formal lounge in the brand new home.
The home had been fitted out with Mahogany
cabinetry in every room and the addition of a
coffee table that was, comparatively, of a light-
weight & delicate appearance, would be a
welcomed balance.
The coffee table consisted of a triptych style
base of three petal-shaped bases and a glass
table top. The bases protruded through the glass
to form three petal-shaped storage vessels
above the counter top.

Bespoke coffee table design for a client’s
home in Blair Atholl Golf Estate, Lanseria.
March 2012
A PJ Lounge is a great place for a family with
twin girls, 18months in age, to relax together.
This is exactly the intended location for a coffee
table that we were requested to design for the
family.
The brief was to provide them with a coffee table
where the little girls could sit at and colour in,
read books, build puzzles etc. and
simultaneously serve the needs of an adult.
The coffee table was designed to have a slide
out table surface for the little girls, a pull-out
cabinet to house floor cushions for the children
to sit on, pull-out magazine rack for the adults
and storage drawers for any necessitates, be it
children's toys or TV remotes etc.
home about portfolio contact
In keeping with the room’s existing decor, the
chosen finish on the table was Mahogany. To
add a bit of personality and lift the heavy look of
the dark wood, selected drawer fronts were clad
in mirror that had been sandblasted with a
decorative pattern.
To meet the client’s where they were at, I
designed two variations of the coffee table for
them to choose from.
The first variation, described above, included all
the bells and whistles and made the most of the
storage potential.
The second variation had a slide-out table on
castors that was nested over an ottoman. This
variation is of a much simpler design and
construction than the first and thus came in at a
much lower price point. Despite the simpler
design, it was aesthetically pleasing and had
attractive features that the client was sold on.

June 2011 After receiving the client’s brief, a dimensional and photographic survey was taken of the existing premises. As part of the initial project appraisal, work began on analysing the client’s needs in conjunction with the shortfalls of the existing design. This initial work phase formed the foundation for the design concept, which was presented, along with a preliminary budget, to the client for approval. With approval granted, work forged ahead on developing it into a resolved design, complete with outline specifications, a detailed budget and project program. home about portfolio contact

March-May 2011 The client had to two areas in their family room, which they deemed problematic. The first space, and highest on their list or priorities, was the space and furniture set aside for their audio- visual equipment. The second, was an alcove in the family room that served no real purpose, was an eye-sore and would be best enjoyed, and of most use, if it could house a reading nook and a drinks cabinet. Work began on assessing our client’s needs and wants in greater in detail. home about portfolio contact
  • 44. TV Cabinet Design: The first area to be addressed was the audio- visual area of the room. After analysis, it was decided that the key problems to be addressed were the following: 1. Lack of storage & display space for the clients many ornaments. 2. An archway leading into the adjacent formal lounge had been blocked off by a couch. A solution was needed to conceal the back of the couch and alter the look so that it looked less like an inconveniently positioned entryway and more like it served a function and was part of the homes original design. 3. Much needed, storage space was needed for the audio visual equipment. This space needed to be tailor-made to house the clients existing equipment, yet be able to adjust to future changes in technology. home about portfolio contact House Ceprnich Hous e Lats k y Bayer Sc hering Pharm a T rans f orm Cof f ee T able Bloom Cof f ee T able
  • 45. A design solution was presented to the client along with a preliminary budget. The solution addressed all aforementioned needs, however, was out of their budget range. Work began in budget engineering the solution to come in on budget without forfeiting any of the necessities and design features, much liked by our client. The goal was achieved and exceeded the client’s expectations, which resulted in happy clients, now able to enjoy their home to the fullest potential. home about portfolio contact House Ceprnich Hous e Lats k y Bayer Sc hering Pharm a T rans f orm Cof f ee T able Bloom Cof f ee T able
  • 46. Liquor Cabinet Design: With the first area’s design done and dusted, work began in transforming the second area by means of a custom-designed liquor cabinet The client’s first request was that the liquor cabinet be a stand-alone piece of furniture that could move with them should they wish to relocate. With a very clear goal in mind, the cabinet was designed to maintain long-term integrity, serve all their functional needs and be of a classic design, After delivery of the cabinet to our client within budget, the once unused corner of the family room has been completely transformed into something functional and beautiful and made for extremely happy clients home about portfolio contact House Ceprnich Hous e Lats k y Bayer Sc hering Pharm a T rans f orm Cof f ee T able Bloom Cof f ee T able

February 2012 The brief was to design a coffee table for the formal lounge in the brand new home. The home had been fitted out with Mahogany cabinetry in every room and the addition of a coffee table that was, comparatively, of a light- weight & delicate appearance, would be a welcomed balance. The coffee table consisted of a triptych style base of three petal-shaped bases and a glass table top. The bases protruded through the glass to form three petal-shaped storage vessels above the counter top. home about portfolio contact

March 2012 A PJ Lounge is a great place for a family with twin girls, 18months in age, to relax together. This is exactly the intended location for a coffee table that we were requested to design for the family. The brief was to provide them with a coffee table where the little girls could sit at and colour in, read books, build puzzles etc. and simultaneously serve the needs of an adult. The coffee table was designed to have a slide out table surface for the little girls, a pull-out cabinet to house floor cushions for the children to sit on, pull-out magazine rack for the adults and storage drawers for any necessitates, be it children's toys or TV remotes etc. home about portfolio contact
  • 58. In keeping with the room’s existing decor, the chosen finish on the table was Mahogany. To add a bit of personality and lift the heavy look of the dark wood, selected drawer fronts were clad in mirror that had been sandblasted with a decorative pattern. To meet the client’s where they were at, I designed two variations of the coffee table for them to choose from. The first variation, described above, included all the bells and whistles and made the most of the storage potential. The second variation had a slide-out table on castors that was nested over an ottoman. This variation is of a much simpler design and construction than the first and thus came in at a much lower price point. Despite the simpler design, it was aesthetically pleasing and had attractive features that the client was sold on. home about portfolio contact Transform Coffee Table Bloom Cof f ee T able Hous e Ceprnic h Hous e Lats k y Bayer Sc hering Pharm a
