1. HR Consultant - Matchtech Group
• Responsibility of establishing relationships in the UK and overseas, cultivating an HR
resource in each office, including the provision of I-Trent training, Business objects
training (HRM System)
• Coordinating the creation of overseas policies, handbooks and guidelines.
• Building relationships overseas with local legal representation and reward providers
• Adopting a blended approach to best practice and best fit within each organisational
function (UK and overseas)
• Work with Key Stakeholders to support their business areas, using HR and
commercial knowledge to drive performance and engagement.
• Partner with business leaders, conduct SWOT analysis on business areas, to identify
areas of concern and opportunities to explore.
• Investigate and conduct relevant analysis on skills gaps within the business areas
and liaise with L&D to bridge these.
• Support stakeholders by coaching and influencing management, proposing suitable
HR Solutions to tackle organisational issues.
• Proactively support business leaders with HR updates, Learning sessions and drop in
clinics on various HR areas.
• Identify and cultivate key talent through performance measures, and liaise with L&D
to support these. In addition work with internal recruitment to assess key attributes
to establish high performance profiles.
• Conduct analysis of current succession plans and revisit these
• Own Key HR projects directed from Head of HR and HR Director.
• Support business leaders during change management, providing a controlled and
strategic approach to consultation.
• Identify, manipulate and deliver key MI and analytics to the business – adding value
to the HR brand
• Manage complex ER matters when escalated from HR Advisor
• Management of HR Advisor and HR Systems Administrator
• Development of the HR team, setting objectives, coordinating 1:1’s and leading by
example.
• Ensure I am legislatively up to date and proactive with my PDP plan
• Continue to Co-Chair at the ASPSCo HR Forum (http://www.apsco.org/) and to act as
communicator between NWI, MTG and APSCo. Raising relevant legal updates,
Case law examples and sharing best practice with the business.
• Establish a professional identity within the business, to gain stakeholder respect and
trust
• Continue to build a professional brand within HR and the recruitment sector
