Dear Lauren Benjamin,
Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to the Middlebury School in Russia for
the spring 2016 semester. Your residence in Russia with our program will prove extremely valuable in furthering
your study of the language and culture of the country. Our office in Russia is ready to help make your stay there
both instructive and enjoyable. Our on-site staff is arranging your housing in local homestays to help make the
experience immersive and to assist with improving your language skills.
You should carefully read the Schools Abroad General Handbook. This booklet contains a great deal of
information that we hope you will find helpful as you continue to plan for your semester or year abroad.
The program in Russia takes place from February 2, 2016 through June 24, 2016 and is located in Moscow. You
will be taking Middlebury-arranged courses hosted at Russia State University for the Humanities.
