Spring Monarch Assessment Skates - Dates Released
Morning,
The Vancouver Island Monarchs is proud to release its camp assessment skate times for Spring 2017.
***Please note that Monarchs website is undergoing reconstruction at this time and will be up and running with
refreshed and new detailed information shortly for the 2017 season.
Highlighted below are shortly upcoming assessment times and all times have a 5 to 10 minute ice clean.
The following is the Vancouver Island Monarchs Spring Camp dates and all camps are being held at the Shawnigan Lake
School Arena (newly named the “Charlie Purdey Arena”) for players wanting to try out for Monarch Teams to be
assessed:
 2004 – Camp, Friday, December 23, 2016 from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm
 2005 – Camp, Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 6:30pm to 8:00 pm
 2006 – Camp, Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm
 2007 – Camp, Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
 2008 – Camp, Friday, December 23, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am
 2009 – Camp, Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
 2010/2011 – There is no camp for this age group as Monarchs is offering open registration for spring development ice (to
be released). If a tournament is desired it will be decided upon parent base and talent, however, the Monarch coaches
strongly recommend focusing on individual skills and good hockey habits at these ages.
 Female U10 – Camp, Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm (2006/2007)
 Female U12 – Camp, Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (2004/2005)
 Female U14 – Camp, Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm (2003/2002)
 Female Midget – Camp, Friday, December 23, 2016 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm (2001/2000/1999)

inquire about boys/integrated “contact” spring hockey.
To register, please send an email with a scanned copy of the completed 2017 Player Information Sheet attached with
this information release to regvimonarchs@gmail.com .
Cost for all camps for all age groups is $35.00 (includes GST).
