Dear Scholarship Committee,
I am writing to highly recommend Lauren Beazley be awarded the Kellogg Legacy
Grant for the Study Abroad Italy Culinary Program. She is most deserving. Lauren was a
student in two of my classes and a Teaching Assistant in my HRT281 class. One of the
reasons I wanted Lauren as my assistant was because of her ability to quickly absorb the
information she was being taught, apply it, and help lead her group to do the same. In any
group she has been placed in, she stands out as a leader, is organized, and effectively
executes her tasks under pressure. She is diligent, with a strong work ethic, and gracefully
accepts and applies critiques to her work. It was a pleasure having her as my Teaching
Assistant, knowing she was fully capable of effectively completing whatever I asked of her.
From my experience with Lauren, she is very ambitious and goal oriented. She cares
about her work and desires to serve others well. I know she will be successful and thrive in
the hospitality industry. She is more than deserving of whatever support you can provide her
to help her achieve her goals.
If I can be of any assistance, or provide you with any further information, please feel
free to contact me at skapoor@cpp.edu or 909-869-4286.
Sincerely,
Sandy Kapoor
