1. Lars joined EPO in FY12 as a project manager from outside ES. In a short period of time, Lars had to
develop a strong understanding of the ES business whilst building project management experience and
skills
In his 3 years with EPO, Lars was involved and drove a large number of projects. Some of the key
projects included:
• Go-To-Market (GTM) Headcount Analysis – Lars analyzed the profile and skills of resources in
the GTM organization to identify development and cost reduction opportunities. The analysis
was then re-run later on in FY2013. It identified cost saving elements for approximately 2 MUSD.
New guidelines to ensure better transparency into Headcount cost structure were suggested.
• Growth dashboard definition and development – Lars was the functional lead for this project.
Together with the end users, he defined the requirements for the dashboard and completed a
prototype that was then later implemented across our region. He then led the testing and
deployment of the tool. The Growth dashboard provides from regional level to account level a
balanced view of the performance against new logo and AIB targets
• In the second part of FY13, Lars joined the team that run the Account health check program in
our GWE region. This provided him with the opportunity to further develop his understanding of
the ES business and better understand the challenges faced by ES accounts. Lars conducted two
health checks – KF Group and DNB. He then supported the accounts with the implementation of
the agreed actions. This was a pre-cursor to the LEAN program later deployed by EMEA.
• In order to support more proactive management of cost during the exit phases of contracts, the
Run-out management and dashboard project was launched. Lars worked closely with EMEA to
handle the larger accounts whilst leading himself the management of the smaller accounts. As a
result, the risk that accounts were left with cost after termination of part of whole of the
contract has been significantly reduced.
• More recently, Lars was assigned to drive the OneHP Excite and the Mobility program. As the
project manager for One HP Excite, he facilitated with Enterprise Group the identification of
opportunities within the accounts and followed up on the outcome and delivery of the agreed
commitments. The OneHP Mobility initiative program in GWE is a cross-BU initiative to drive
further revenue growth within Mobility solutions from HP. Lars is assigned the Program lead in
GWE and is responsible for driving this initiative to a success in terms of market presence;
increased pipeline and revenue growth. So far this initiative has brought approx. 8MUSD worth
of revenue over the last 6 month and pipeline growth of 285% (from 80MUSD to 188MUSD)
Lars has made significant contribution to the GWE headquarter and accounts. He has delivered his
projects with strong quality. Lars has used effectively his prior experience in Sales to drive
communication to management. He has very good presentation and communication skills. He has
always been a very proactive team player and has on many occasions contributed proactively or
highlighted topics relevant to other team activities. Lars is a seasoned professional who is always willing
to take on additional challenges. It has been a pleasure to have Lars on the team.
