Among the various possible inspirations for James Bond, one of the
obscure and surprising ones is this celebrated children book author,

1967’s “You Only Live Twice”. Conscripted as an ace pilot in RAF with

got him recruited into MI6 and he was sent to Washington to work
under the tutelage of Spymaster William Stephenson (Bond inspiration
a/c to Fleming), where his job was to woo and bed the wives and
girlfriends of various high level American officials and important
industrialists, such as Henry Luce, founder of Time Magazine, in

was no official anthem of the nation that
led the public to conduct a mass

recognised as the national anthem in a
bill signed on March 4, 1931, nearly 152
years since it was used by the naval
forces of the nation as their anthem.
