4. *1. The colors of X have been a major debating subject
for Comics fans since their introduction into the Marvel
Cinematic Universe. Although thereâs no significant
reason why one X is of a certain color, purists have often
dissed the movies for their arbitrary use of the color
palette.
Director of the Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn, had
argued that he had to change the color of an X in order to
differentiate it from another shown in Thor: The Dark
World.
X come in red, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange.

6. 2. Originally a member of the Hellfire Club as
shown in the movie X-Men: First Class, X later
fought against the X-Men and ended up joining the
Brotherhood of Mutants along with a few others.
While Xâs fellow teammates in the former Hellfire
Club were experimented on and killed by Trask
between X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of
Future Past , Xâs fate remain officially unrevealed.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine shows one of Strykerâs
captive mutants having powers similar to X.

11. 4. Considered a representation of three-way unity,
this symbol has been used in Christian tradition as a
sign of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
Pagans/Wiccans consider it as the symbol of the
Triple Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone).
Youâve probably seen this in Assassinâs Creed,
Outlast, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, GTA V, and
Overwatch.
ID the symbol and where will you find it in the
comics cinematic universe?
14. *5. Born with the Deviant Syndrome, Thanos grew up as
an outcast in the society. Obsessed with death, he lived
up to his moniker (Thanatos, in ancient Greek mythology,
is the personification of death) in the years to come.
It has been a common notion that his creator Jim Starlin
sketched Thanos in his Psychology class, basing him on
Jack Kirbyâs Darkseid.
However, Starlinâs original sketches were actually
inspired from _______ until his editor-in-chief decided
to make Thanos more of a Darkseid clone, resulting in
the draft that we are familiar with today.

16. 6. Stan Lee: âHe was me. He was irascible, he was
bad-tempered, he was dumb, he thought he was
better than he was. He was the version that so
many people had of me! And I always wanted to
play him in the movie. I was so sorry that by the
time the movie was made, I was too old to play the
role. Well, I don't think I'm too old, but obviously
they did. Oh, and the guy who's playing him is
wonderful! He's done it better than I could've done,
and that's very high praise!â

20. 8. Spoilers for some of you here.

second life, and Tim is forced to give it up once and for good.
Stephanie Brown has a vigilante life as well, but her real identity
doesnât remain hidden to Tim for long. She trains under the Birds
of Prey, and decides to level up trying to prove her worth to a
certain associate of Tim. It doesnât end too well for her though â
she ends up kindling the War Games that leaves her nearly beaten

27. 11. Although Green Lantern wasnât a hit film by any
standards, it was humorous enough through more than a
few pop culture references like âTo infinity and beyondâ
and âBy the power of Greyskullâ.
In the movie, Carol Ferris is shown to have X as her jet
pilot code name, which happens to be an allusion to her
alias Y in the comic universe.
Plenty of other characters have used the alias Y as well,
including Deborah Darnell, Dela Pharon, and Jillian
Pearlman.
Give me Y.
29. 12. The Dark Knight Rises finds prisoners chanting as Bruce
Wayne attempts to escape from the pit Bane had imprisoned
him in.
Speaking about its development, Hans Zimmer later said, âThe
chant became a very complicated thing because I wanted
hundreds of thousands of voices, and it's not so easy to get
hundreds of thousands of voices. So, we tweeted and we posted
on the internet, for people who wanted to be part of it. It
seemed like an interesting thing.â
According to Zimmer, the chant means ârise upâ in a language
he prefers to keep secret. Moroccan and Arabic dialects have
been thrown into the mix by fans, but the true origin continues
to remain disputed.
Give me the chant as heard in the movie.
34. 14. Asgardians describe X as the cosmic nimbus
that connects the Nine Realms. Thor, in the

with the help of a drawing of X in a sketch pad.
Captain America: The First Avenger shows
Johann Schmidt invading a village in Norway
and finding the Tesseract hidden behind a wall
with a carving of X on it.

38. 16. French for âbeautiful dreamâ, X also finds mention as the
family home of Blanche DuBois in Tennessee Williamsâ play, A
Streetcar Named Desire.
Xâs debut in the comic universe dates back to May, 1987 in
the first issue of a soon-to-be successful series.
Xâs film debut occurs in the post-end credits scene in Justice
League: Throne of Atlantis, featuring Ocean Master.
Heathens by Twenty One Pilots have been associated with X
in recent times.

42. 18. Ranked the 47th greatest comic book character by the Wizard
magazine in 2011, this superhero gained such a cult following that
Dexterâs Laboratory introduced a spoof of him in one of the episodes.
Even Quentin Tarantinoâs Reservoir Dogs had a poster of him in one
of the scenes.
The creation of this superhero has an interesting backstory: Stan Lee
and Jack Kirby had discussed the issueâs story, but Kirby went on to add
this new character anyway, reasoning the latterâs iconic object with a
quirky explanation of being âtired of drawing spaceshipsâ.
Despite being an unplanned addition to the Fantastic Four, the series
was thought to have been one of Stan Leeâs personal favorites.

46. *20. The New Element was theorized by
Howard Stark and later synthesized by Tony
Stark when the latter wanted a suitable
replacement for the palladium core in his Arc
Reactor, which had been poisoning him. The
New Element is said to generate power similar
to the Tesseract. Tony, being Tony, later tried to
get the element patented as ______, but ran
into too many legal issues.

51. 22. This critically acclaimed film was premiered in Shanghai
before being released in the U.S.A. in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
Apart from the fantastic direction, musical score, and brilliant
performances, the film made the headlines because of a
number of controversies, including receiving a ban in a West
Asian country, due to the citizenship of the lead cast.
However, it went on to shatter several box office records and
netting in $806.7m against a budget of $ 149m, making it the
highest grossing superhero origin film domestically.
