1. Philosophy of Teaching
I have been a Christian for almost twenty years. Since I became a believer in the
Lord, Jesus Christ, my worldview changed. I have a moral compass, the Word of God,
which influences how I live my everyday life. I believe that as a believer, it is my
responsibility to echo and reflect the Word of God and that includes my professional life.
When I teach I integrate the Word of God with the subject that is currently being taught.
I do this because:
1.) I believe that the Word of God is infallible (Acts 1:1-3). There are many
biblical and extra biblical sources that support the infallibility of the
Word of God.
2.) The Word of God is inerrant (Mt. 5:17). Jesus came to fulfill the law.
3.) The Word of God has the final authority (2 Tim. 3:16). I believe that it
is imperative that we are not swayed by the philosophy of man. When
challenged by the philosophy of others we must hold the Word of God
as the final authority. Every scope of practice has its’ initial origin from
God, our creator (Gen. 1:1-31).
It is with this perspective that I teach others, thereby fulfilling my duty as a Christian.
