Travel across the land, searching far and wide to breakthrough your enemy’s defensive whether you fancy a sneaky game about misdirection or want to take the warriors way and crush your opponent with a rush down the middle. The troops need a leader, will you lead them?
The biggest war in all of history, past and present armies face against each other in the heat of battle.
Magic has been introduced in the world, allowing for time travel. Various empires from previous time periods have begun to attempt to reconquer their territories. You, the player, must either conquer your enemies land, while defending your own land.

There is a merchant NPC who sells technologies at a price and another NPC that the player can purchase these technologies from. In this case, one player is a United States General. The other player is a General of the ancient Roman Army.
World War Zero is based on grid movement, dice rolling, and having a modular board - modular in this case meaning you change the disc placement with every new game. Move your soldiers to gain energy discs, battle enemies, and get to the end. (RYAN)
Trade the energy discs to get credits. You can use these credits to buy technologies. These technologies give you powers that will give you the upper hand against your enemies and help you get to the end. (RYAN)
If one of your soldiers makes it to the opposite end, you have infiltrated the enemy base, thus making you win! (RYAN)
However, if an enemy gets into your end zone, you will be defeated. (KYLE)
Technologies can range from powers such as advancing multiple tiles, getting more credits, stealing credits from your enemy, or invincibility from losing credits. (KYLE)
The player can move one tile at a time. Then the player flips the energy disc that determines how many credits he or she gets. Then the player can purchase a technology if he or she has enough credits. Afterwards, the turn ends. (KYLE)
Our game requires a quick read-thru of directions before playing. However most of our game’s fun comes from watching your opponent’s movements and countering against them to win.
Our game offers a creative experience to players. While our backstory provides context for matching up unlikely enemies, you the player can craft original experiences each and every time. This opens the door to new ways of enjoyment in each game!
We got excited for our game because it required innovative strategy, creative stories, and smart thinking, all in a new fun and competitive game!
