11. Putting It All Together
My name is Jane Smith.
I’m seeking a position as a lifeguard and swim instructor.
My primary job skills are being team oriented, organized, adaptable, and punctual. I am a member of my
high school swim team where I learned the importance of being a team player. I was also a childcare
worker where I needed to be organized and adaptable. I held a volunteer position at The Habitat Store
where it was important for me to be punctual.
My other strengths are being involved in other sports at school including soccer and basketball.
I am the best candidate for this position because I have experience working with children and also I am a
strong swimmer for my high school swim team where I received an award for the Fastest Butterfly Time.
