This includes:
buying or selling
goods/services via
the Internet
providing
Internet services
(e.g. ISPs)
web hosting
services
acting as a marketplace
for the sale or purchase
of goods and services
via the Internet
8. E-commerce registration
Websites that require e-commerce registration e.g.
having purchase system
having online payment system
membership registration system
advertising other’s products/service for benefits
delivery of products online
Websites that do not require e-commerce registration e.g.
promoting company or products
content provider / exchanging information without
membership fee or expenses
9. Direct marketing registration
regulates the marketing of goods or services via distance medium
(e.g. web portal, e-marketplace, e-commerce, etc.), with the anticipation that consumers will
respond through such distance medium.
Exempted businesses: Sale of products or services via electronic means by the following
persons:
an individual whose revenue from sales is less than THB 1,800,000 a year;
a registered SME under the law governing small and medium enterprise promotion;
a registered community enterprise or its network under the law governing community
enterprise promotion; and
a registered cooperative or agriculturist group under the law governing cooperatives.
