1. Letter of Recommendation
It gives me sincere pleasure to recommend Ksenia Dubrovchenko, who I supervised in the Student
World Leaders Program, Fall Session from August 2014 to December 2014. Ksenia worked across cultural
borders with students from around the world on the IT Team. I must say that Ksenia’s character shined
throughout the program. The Student World Leaders Program is an internship program that brings students
together to help change the world with a focus on renewable energy, information technology, business, and
research.
We accepted Ksenia into the Student World Leaders Program while Ksenia was a student at
Northeastern University in Boston pursing a bachelors in Information Technologies. Ksenia has strengths in
communication, punctuality, teamwork, and decision-making. This program was deisgned to teach
resourcefulness, time-management, virtual communication, and sustainability. On the IT Team, Ksenia worked
with CSS, HTML, and other scripts to reconstruct the backend of the website, worked with our graphic designer
to achieve the reconsturction of the frontend of the website, and assisted with the reformation of the mobile
version of the website. Teamwork was built and information was shared online by incorporating virtual team
conference calls, using an online classroom forum, and facilitating an online cloud storage system. Since Ksenia
was in the inaugural year of our program, we were able to learn from Ksenia’s participation. Overall, our
interaction with Ksenia has truly helped to guide our nonprofit into the future of energy, technology, and the
world stage.
I most certainly include Ksenia in the top 10% of the students in the program, which is why I am writing
this letter of recommendation.
Sincerely,
