Blood Drive - Today from 12:30 - 5:00 pm in the Family Life Center.
Veterans Day Tribute - You are invited to come as we pay tribute to our veterans today
at the Blue Star Memorial, downtown Knightdale. The service will begin at 12:30 pm and is
sponsored by Two Green Thumbs Garden Club.
Church Council Meeting - Monday, November 10th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room.
Angelic Ministries Meeting - Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00 pm in the Conference
Room.
Operation Christmas Child Pack-A-Box Party - Wednesday, November 12th following
the Wednesday Night Meal at 6:45 pm in the Family Life Center. Come help pack a
shoebox with the items that have been donated this year.
Operation Christmas Child - KBC is collecting items for the Samaritanâs Purse shoebox
ministry every month. For the month of November we are accepting monetary donations to
help with the shipping costs. Thank you for your contributions!
Mission Team Meeting for Feed Our Neighbors - Wednesday, November 12th at 6:30
pm in the Conference Room.
Wedding Shower - Please join us for a wedding shower honoring MAJ Chris and Mrs.
Jamie Rosehart on Sunday, November 16th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The
couple is registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond, and will also be accepting monetary
donations for a honeymoon.
Cemetery Committee Meeting - Monday, November 17th at 7:00 pm in the Conference
Room.
Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00 pm in the Conference
Room.
Weathers/Knight Circle - Thursday, November 20th at 10:45 am in the Conference
Room.
Feed Our Neighbors - Saturday, November 22nd at noon in the Fellowship Hall for the
Club Horizon participants. If you would like to help with this wonderful mission come join
us on November 12th at 6:30 pm in the Conference Room right after the Wednesday night
meal and before the Pack-A-Box party to find out how. We need individuals to help supply
food (There is a sign-up list posted on the bulletin board in the Education Building) and
help with setting up, serving and cleaning up.
Backpack Buddies - Thank you ALL for the ongoing food donations you provide for

Backpack Buddies. The weekend meals are going to children at Knightdale Elementary
School who might otherwise have little or no food from Friday until they return to school
Monday morning. We need lots of kid-friendly non-perishable food items to maintain this
ministry (a grocery list can be found in the vestibule for you to take home). There is an
urgent need for canned meat (Vienna Sausage, Tuna, Chicken, Pork & Beans) and
canned pasta, like Chef Boyardee, Chicken Noodle Soup, or Spaghettios (16 oz. or
less). The food collection bins are located in the Education Building and the vestibule of the
Sanctuary. Thank you again for supporting this ministry.
Advent Devotionals - Itâs that time of year again. Start praying about writing an advent
devotion to share this Christmas season. They need to be turned in no later than November
16th to Cathy Maynard: mttop_hs1@juno.com. Feel free to write as many as you wish.
They can be a thought about Christmas or a memory. You can include a prayer and a
scripture, or Cathy will find one for you. Kids, you can write one too! You can even draw a
picture to go with it.
Love Offering - A love offering will be received for our staff to express our appreciation
and love. This offering will be received now through December 21st and distributed equally
among Trent, Hal, Joe, Patty, Dana and Ann. The preschool board will recognize Christi
and our preschool staff. If you wish to contribute, please mark your envelope as âLove
Offering.â
Calling All Kids (K-6th Grade) - A Mission Project especially for you! âRake Our
Neighbors Leaves,â Saturday, November 29th, from 8:30 am - noon. A hot dog lunch will be
served afterwards. We will be serving our church and community by raking leaves. This
can be for the whole family to serve together. What a great time to share together and to

Roasted Pork Loin, Cooked Spiced Apples, Green Beans,
Bread, Homemade Desserts and Beverages
(Cheese Pizza always available)
The cost is: adults (10-up) $5.00, children (4-9) $2.00 and children 3 and under free.
Maximum family cost is $20.00. Reservations/cancellations must be made by noon
Monday, November 10th. Call the church office to make reservations or complete the
Wednesday Night section on the âWelcome Guestâ slip and drop it in the offering plate.
Make sure to write your name on the slip.

please donât forget to find a replacement for yourself so there
is adequate coverage during the worship service. Also, if you
have a change in the schedule for the childrenâs nursery or
childrenâs church, please contact the monthly coordinator
so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the
worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the
schedule should continue to be handled by the lead
coordinator.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in
childrenâs worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end
of the church service by a parent or adult. The childrenâs worship
leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or
adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7
year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to
ensure their safety!
