‘3 Platoon Basingstoke (PWRR) ACF’
Remembrance Parade
3 Platoon will be attending this year’s Remembrance
Parade on Sunday 9th
November. Meet time will be
9.15am at the Unit. Following the service all cadets are
invited to the Legion for food and drink 
RBL Poppy Appeal
Following the success of raising £384.60 for the Poppy
Appeal last year, 3 Platoon have been asked to help again
this November. We will be collecting at Sainsbury’s. Dates
and time to be confirmed as soon as the British Legion let
us know.
Massive thanks go to all the Cadets who
helped at the National Ploughing Event
over the 11th
and 12th
October. They
were fantastic!!!!
November Camp
Camp will be from Friday 28th
– Sunday 30th
November. Camp
cost is £15. If you haven’t received your camp letter yet
please collect one from the Unit.
November Enrolment Ceremony
New cadets from 3 Plt will be enrolled into the Unit on
Wednesday 5th
November. As well as cadets, the adults will
be enrolled too! All friends and family are welcome to attend.
Go Karting Summer Social
During July, the Platoon had their Summer Social at
Absolutely Karting, Basingstoke. The event was a thrill
seeking, fast, furious race and everyone had a great time!
3 Platoon Christmas Do
This year’s Christmas Do is hoped to be hosted at BCOT
Restaurant. This event will be black tie. Further details and
date to be confirmed.
Abseil Complete!
SSI Grimsey, SSI Bennett and
Cadet Colour Sergeant Pegg
completed the Spinnaker
Tower Abseil for the ABF
and St David’s Hospice.
They raised over £1500.
Well done guys!
