4. What is the meaning o fthe term “Baptism”
•The word "baptize" comes from the Greek baptizo,
meaning "to immerse" or "plunge into" or "put into.“
• This Greek word cannot mean "sprinkle" or "pour."
The Greek word for "sprinkle" is rantizo, and "pour" is
cheo.

Baptism as it is practiced among the
denominations, is dissimilar to the Baptism
identified and commanded in the Bible.
Baptism is not just good biblical advice. It
is necessary and essential. Without it, we
are lost. We can never back off this or
compromise this. We want people to go to
heaven and be with Jesus forever, so we
must always teach this truth and never
waver from it.
