1. CONGRATULATIONS! FCC Employee Recognition
Program Winner
Kirsten Moffler-Daykin, Instructor at Hope Academy in La Crosse
Nominated by Amanda Jalensky
From Amanda’s nomination:
Kirsten started with Hope Academy the beginning of the current school
year, having to jump in the deep end right off the bat. She started with a
huge academic mess and 8 students, and that number quickly increased to
11 and then two weeks later 13! She has been extremely responsive to the
needs of the program while juggling the needs of the purchasers. She has
brought innovative ideas and practices to our program while providing
excellent services to the students. Her academic skills have been tested
over and over and she continues to thrive and stretch as an educator. She
continues to case manage the academics while teaching classes and
managing 13 youth all on different education plans and widely varying
levels of capability. Students who struggle academically are earning A’s
and B’s in their courses… and actually doing the work to earn the grades,
not just showing up.
Congratulations, Kirsten and THANK YOU!!
