We wonder where
all those waste go?

Kau’auhuhu Landfill,
and West Hawaii
landfill are one of
places Hawaii puts
its waste

Biodegradable
and Non-
biodegradable so
waste can be
recycled

5. Bring reusable
bags to the
market to
minimize the
use of plastic

6. It takes 13% more
energy to make a
single paper bag
than to make two
plastic bags.

7. Hawaii Just
Became The First
State To Ban
Plastic Bags At
Grocery
Checkouts

foodland in
Laie has
started this
program
