6. Who is SACRRA
The South African Credit & Risk Reporting Association, is a
not-for-profit voluntary association of members who share
credit and risk performance data of their customers.
SACRRA aim to give members control of their data for them
to comply with existing legislation and enable them to adapt
to an ever-changing business environment.
SACRRA members include credit providers, financial service
providers, retailers, service providers, cellular companies,
insurance companies, subscription companies and marketing
companies.

Previously known as the Credit Providers Association
The CPA is now known as the South African Credit & Risk
Reporting Association or simply SACRRA.
SACRRA Currently has 184 members contributing 61 million
payment lines for Consumers.
In August 2014 SACRRA launched the Business Credit
Information Sharing Initiative.
