This is a place for wellness. This provides an environment where
people go to feel rejuvenated. This design connects. It breaks
barriers. Through a combination of transparency, organic design,
and intimacy in materials, the project becomes a fresh place for
people to relax, learn, and engage the idea of wellness in a radical
way while connecting more with themselves and the city.

‘Homing’ is a residence, but the occupants do more than
reside—they live; they thrive. This migrant housing complex
is a community, a symbiotic relationship on multiple levels
implemeted through density. A place where firm roots are planted
and people can grow and spread across Coachella. This is a house
for families and a place for individuals. For anyone that needs it,
this is a home.
Project Location: Coachella Valley, California
Completed: Spring 2015
Tools Utilized: Rhino, Vray, Photoshop, Illustrator

Adjacent to the site, the Monon Trail and Sixteenth Street are an
intersection of multiple types of traffic. The point where runners,
bikers, and drivers connect is translated into the new design for
the abandoned Tinker Flats building. The existing, historical
structure is respected while a new addition is interjected within
the old, creating new intersections of materials, programs, and
communities.
Project Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Completed: Fall 2014
Tools Utilized: Rhino, Vray, Photoshop, Illustrator

Skyscrapers exist as megaliths that disregard the context and the
user. The existing design methodology is antiquated and only
allows for the perpetuated development of arbitrary structures that
blatantly ignore the inhabitants and surrounding fabric. However,
technology has reached a point where this should no longer be the
utilized method. Multiplicities of data, ranging from user defined
to external, can be comprehended and should inform the design
and creation process. Data collection can program buildings. By
culling unnecessary data, pertinent factors can govern the design
process and create intuitive structures.
