BRIC to describe 4 large developing
countries.
• BRAZIL
• RUSSIA
• INDIA
• CHINA

3. These 4 economies will
overtake the
G6(US,UK,Japan,Germany,
France & Italy) in terms of GDP
by 2050.

4. In 2010,South Africa joined BRIC.
The BRICS Forum;an international
organization encouraging
commercial,political and cultural co
operation between the BRICS nations
was formed in 2011.

5.  To study the trends of GDP of BRIC
nations.
 To understand the growth of capital
markets of BRIC nation.
 To analyze the same in term of macro
stability.
*South Africa is not included as a late
entrant.

6.  The study adopts descriptive approach to
carry out the research work and employs
secondary sources to collect data.
 The collected data is presented in tabular
form as well as percentages and explored
by calculating growth rate.
